Fabric, yay!

My stuff came in yesterday... It is now at least theoretically possible there will be progress made! I am a little disappointed in the brown, it's more velveteen than velvet - but it is nice and heavy and still very usable I think... But I think the gray will end up being my favorite. The question now is which one to work on first... hmmmmm

I think I'm going to end up doing blue as the secondary color with the gray... I'm envisioning a deep cobalt all embroidered with silver threads and silver and faux sapphires, or maybe lapis. Heehee... course the planning is always much more adventurous than the work.. I'd better start with the brown, at least I have some of the stuff to go with it. Heh... I wonder if velveteen is period?
