Heh... sometimes I forget that not everyone has known the joy that is pumpkin roll. It's a dessert - basically "pumpkin cake" which is baked in a thin layer (we pour the batter into the cookie sheets that have the sides) sometimes with nuts but usually without since people in my family are picky. You assemble it just like you would a chocolate roll or jelly roll, using cream cheese frosting, and dust the entirety with powdered sugar. Some people don't care for it that much, but my family *really* likes them. Yummmm...
If you want, I can send you the recipe - I think it's a nice alternative to the ubiquitous pumpkin pie.
