Ryan got hurt this evening while playing with Alex... he's all splinted up now with either a fracture or a break just a bit below the elbow :( Follow ups in the morning to determine which, and if he needs a real cast. Either way, my poor baby has had a rough night and is not going to have an easy time of it for a while until he heals up :(

While I think we're going to have to skip tonight, I do hope to make the April meeting... sorry for the flakiness.

Alex is doing okay... it was totally accidental, and we've been careful not to make him feel too guilty while still trying to enforce the message of "This is why it's so important to be careful and gentle with Ryan." I think Alex might be a little jealous of the extra attention it's netting Ryan - he's calling a lot of attention to himself and 'suffering' from vague tummyaches and such - totally normal, I think!

Thanks! It is a little heartbreaking, but I have two brothers... I knew I'd probably be dealing with broken bones at some point with my boys, I'd just thought it would be at an older age.
