Alexander is two months old today ::sniff:: a little teary about how fast the time goes. He's getting so big, too, he's already starting to fit into his 3-6 month clothes. He has his appointment later today, where he will only be getting one shot... hopefully they won't give me a hard time about it (we're doing a delayed vaccination schedule). I'm dreading it a bit, having heard from other August 2004 mommies how hard their little ones took the shots... well, we'll just have to see. He might be oblivious and perfectly fine.

Forgot to include this one in yesterday's picture post - sneak peek at his Halloween costume.

Appointment went well. He's at 50th percentile (read: perfectly average) for everything except weight - 13lbs 7 oz which makes him 92nd percentile (heavier than 92% of kids his age) which is fabulous! We want babies to be chubby happy little things at this age, and he definitely qualified. Dr. Kurz was really nice and did a great job (very thorough and communicative throughout apptment) and was very professional about the vaccination decision. Yay! Alex did pretty good... I thought he was going to be okay, he took the shot very well... but then a moment or two later he wanted to cry :( I scooped him up in my arms and he calmed down and stopped crying. He's got a garfield bandaid on his leg, even though it's probably not neccessary, and he may be fussy later tonight. We'll be keeping an eye out for fever too, but right now he's napping with a full tummy and seems okay. On the way out of the office, Jan came over to chat with us and she even got a few smiles from him.
